power doors will not unlock using switches.
My power doors will not unlockon my 2004 venture unless I turn it on, engage in drive, engage in park, turn the engine off and then they unlock. I put a new switch in the drivers side and it made no difference. I measured 12 volts on the blue wire going to the switch but only 4.7 volts on the white wire as shown on the schematic and it is supposed to be 12 volts also. What could be the problem?
Check the passenger switches out. Also check the indivual wire connections to all the switches for corrosion or loosening. door switches tend to collect water. could also be the rear lock switch stuck. make sure that is lubed and working well. theres a connection in there if you cant find it in the front. ALL the locks are connected together so they ALL must work. make sure the slider door connections are sparkling clean, too. start with the easy stuff
