Default Radiator.( long)

I have been having problems with my 1997.15???? miles.Motor and tranny replaced by 2nd owner(with used).First of all during the summer it used lots of water 2 weeks ago water in the oil.I think I got that fixed. While running the engine the engine tempature stayed warm(not hot). But noticed the radiator was hot, seamed like the fans didn't work when needed to.So not knowing enough about the sensors that turnthe fans on. I put a fanin front of the radiator to cool and seamed to work. But was't happy so thought the radiator may be clogged. So I removed it.The problem I had was on the drives side. There is a bolt to remove the fan in the middle of the edge of the radiator. There is a shinney thing(I think it's the dryer for the airconditioner) this stops the radiator from moving toward the engine and removing the bolt for the fan on the driners side.First question Is there an easier way to get the radiator out? Second question There is a electrical conection on the passenger side of the radiator( not hooked up)Maybe this causes the fans not to work. But the problem is the wire conection is coroded( dirty). Can a new end be bought or how can it be repaired. Thanks for any and all help Ken N.
