rattling windows on sliding doors
The windows of the sliding doors on my 1997 Chevy Venture rattle. The vehicle has 224,000+ miles on it. In an attempt to eliminate the rattle, I removed, washed, and replaced the weatherstripping/seals, but there was no change to the rattle. While the seals seem to be in good shape, I imagine that they are less firm than they were when they were new.
I think that new weatherstripping could make the windows snug again and eliminate the rattle.
Have others experienced the rattle and found that replacement weatherstipping/seals fixes the problem?

My 97 had a problem with the latches coming loose. There is just on screw. Its kinda tricky but you have to remove the pin from the latch and very carefully remove and then reinstall the screw using some loctite on the screw.
Make sure you do not over tighten the screw as you may crack the window.
