Wife's 1999 Venture had misfire on 2 cylinders. Change out plugs and coil wires, AC Delco parts. Now I have a rough idle on start up, warm or cold engine makes no difference. If I raise the idle but increasing pressure on foot feed it goes away, runs fine, mpg is where it should be.

What should I look at next ??

is it rough idle or does it want to stall??

my wifes van was hunting for idle, and stalling when you first start it..
if you pushed on the gas for about 5 seconds it went away..

replaced the fuel filter...problem solved...

surprised it didnt do it all the time...just on start up..

probably didnt have the fuel pressure, then once it caught up it was fine..
is the only thing I can think of..

 

I replaced fuel filter and have checked fuel pressure regulator. Seems odd as it goes away in less than 1/2 minute. Thanks for your help. Biggest concern is wife will become stranded. Again thanks for suggestions
