Default SIR(Airbag) problems

I have intermittent B0045 and B0040 errors.
This should translate to:
DTC B0040 LF/Driver Side Deployment Loop Resistance Low
DTC B0045 LF Side Deploy Loop Short to Ground/Voltage Out of Range

Anyone that has a clue where to start looking, and how to do it, I guess that sticking a DVM on the airbag connectors is not a good Idea.
Its an 2002/2003 Chevy Venture

Hi !
Code B0040 will set when the SDM detects the LF side impact module deployment loop resistance is less than 1.3 ohm for 500 milliseconds .
DTC B0045 will set when one of the following conditions occur:
... the SDM detects the voltage at LF side impact module high control is greater than 6 volts for 500 milliseconds .
... the SDM detects the voltage at LF side impact module high control is less than 2.4 volts and LF side impact module deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohm for 500 milliseconds
If DTC B0040 is present, test for a short between the LF side impact module high and LF side impact low control circuits. If DTC B0045 is present, test for a short to ground or voltage in the LF side impact module high and LF side impact module low control circuits.
Most likely you have a problem side seat driver airbag. See wire break or short circuit

Yeah, I know all that.
However, need to test the harnes, since I don't have the "Load Test Tool" specified in the workshop manual, question is that if a 2 Ohm resistor will do, as a replacement.

Nope, Replace the "Inflatable Restraint Module" with a 2 Ohm resistor, and se if the error is still there.
