Is there a such thing as a stabilizer/sway bar bushing and bracket, that are made together, for any vehicle? In other words, you can't just replace the bushing, because it does not separate from the bracket. Is that a thing? Thanks!

 

post your vehicle info please, and what is the problem you are experiencing?

 

1995 Trans Sport 3.1l TBI. Trying to put new sway bar bushings on it and the bushings that all the auto parts stores have are too big. The sway bar is 1 1/32", except for the last 3" on either side (which is where the bushings go). The last 3" is a little less than 7/8". And when i got the old bushings off, it was like the bushings and brackets were one piece. I had to use a MAP gas torch to burn the bushings out of the brackets. It was very strange!

Reuse the steel bracket. Once you bolt it down it will close the gap.
