Default stiff gas peddle
my cruise controll was on when i was driving and now my gas peddle is stiff could that have damaged it and if so how do i fix it?

The accelerator cable pulls on the spring loaded throttle mechanism at the throttle body. The cable from the cruise control module is also connected to a lever there. You can try disconnecting the cruise control cable and see if that's what's jamming the throttle.
