Yea, you wouldn't like someone posting this without backing it up.

did the Op ever comment back on this? would be nice to hear the issue.
most of the dealerships struggle with the economy being what it is....
dealerships are usually family owned, and this is how they make their living.
most wont tolerate anyone that tarnishes the dealership, at any cost.

I'm a new member of the forum and noticed this thread.

I just purchased a 2012 Silverado from Gateway Chevrolet and also purchased a 2011 Silverado from them in 2010.

Their inventory is available for viewing on their website and the information provided is detailed and up to date.

My experience was excellent for both sales. I've found their dealership to be clean and well organized with good inventory and above all their sales staff has been very professional.

There's an open atmosphere with no closing booths which is generally a sign of a dealership that has nothing to hide.

I haven't had the need for service which speaks volumes regarding the quality of the product.

It's possible that both my purchase experiences were unique but I doubt that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend someone to Gateway.

Most dealerships are family owned?????? That has not been my experience. These days the corporate dealerships have taken over the cities I have lived in. Look at the Autonations, Carmax and Hendricks of the world. They are as corporate as GM, and probably more profitable.
