Z82 - HEAVY DUTY TRAILERING EQUIP -- what does that mean?

Hi All,

We've got a 2003 Yukon XL (Suburban, with the GMC nameplate). On the info sheet we got from the dealer it says "Z82 - HEAVY DUTY TRAILERING EQUIP" and "VR4 - WEIGHT DIST HITCH PLATFORM". I'm wondering what exactly that means for the 2003 model year. Do we have a Class IV rather than a Class IV hitch? Is there extra cooling to towing heavier loads? Something else?

I've searched on this and haven't been able to come up with anything.

Thanks for any input!

Found this for '08 Silverado:

Trailer towing preparation includes tow hook; 7-wire harness; Includes: [KNP] HD External Transmission Cooler And [K47] Air Cleaner: High Capacity; Requires: [LMG] Vortec 5.3L V8 SFI FlexFuel Engine with Active Fuel Management; Or [LY2] Vortec 4.8L V8 Engine; Or [LY5] Vortec 5300 V8 Engine with Active Fuel Management; Or [Z85] Suspension Package, Handling/Trailering
