10 of the Coolest Chevy Trucks Hitting the Auction Block
1985 C10 Silverado
This next truck is another from the ’80s with the memorable super square body shape. This 1985 C10 Silverado was fully restored by the original owner, and it’s only got a little more than 32,000 miles on the clock. Therefore, once scooped up by the highest bidder, it would be driveable for at least another 120,000 as long as the new owner was diligent about keeping the old bird running well.
Similar to most of the trucks listed, the auction website listed the engine in this one by cubic inches: 305 CI, to be exact. And like most American cars in the 80’s, came with a V8 deserving of a respectable nod, and a well-earned, “not bad, not bad.” These are the types of trucks that came with an already nice sounding exhaust to accompany the already meaty sound. If asserting dominance on every hybrid on the road is a goal, this is the truck to do it in.
Luckily, this beast came with nice, modern touches. Like cruise control, air conditioning, power steering and even power windows. So, even though this truck is a year older than the other square-era Silverado listed, it’s got a few more upgrades that make this a very relevant truck.
