2016 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss: Do You Like the Look?
While the 2015 Colorado Trail Boss didn’t look much different than the Z71 it was built upon, the 2016 Trail Boss adds a few visual, and functional, enhancements. Those include the roll bar and LED spotlights to the bed of the truck. The question is, what do you think of the new look? Do you like it?
The roll bar is fake, and provides no structural improvement to the vehicle. While that might be a bummer, this author really does like the new look of the truck. The lights are operational, and spread a wide beam when they are in use.
For those wondering, you can remove the bar and lights if you need more room in the bed. But most of the GearOn accessories will work with the bar in place. Obviously, there’ll be wires for the lights hanging around if you remove the bar, but you have the option if you want it.
The Trail Boss can also be had with GM’s 2.8L Duramax diesel engine; an expensive option but one we’d gladly pay for.
So what say you? Do you like the looks of the new Trail Boss? Would you order it?
