Barrett-Jackson, otherwise known as the “World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions,” is set to light up the Las Vegas Strip with their annual collector car sale this Labor Day weekend.

The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino will play host to this year’s mega-car weekend, which many auction executives are counting on a reconfigured, revitalized and even bigger floor plan to bring in more buyers, more fans, and of course, a lot more money.

“We’re making some big changes to our Las Vegas Auction this year,”said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “To give our guests an even greater Barrett-Jackson experience, we’re consolidating the auction, our sponsors and exhibitors, as well as the display area for auction cars, into one building at Mandalay Bay. This will give our fans more time to preview our amazing docket, shop and be a part of the auction action throughout the three-day weekend.”

Barrett-Jackson says that they’ve gone back to basics and listened to bidders, consignors and fans alike, and taken steps to make the event more convenient and enjoyable for all involved. The event, including all of the excitement from the auction block, exhibitors and auction car displays, will take over the convention center space on the south end of the property. Adjacent to this space and immediately out the doors from the auction arena will be Chevrolet Ride ’N Drives and Dodge Thrill Rides.

Among some of the anticipated units, are a 1949 Cadillac Custom Topless Roadster with an LS1 engine swap, as well as a one-of-a-kind VIN#101 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible.
