1969 CHEVROLET C10 SHOW TRUCK

Five solid and diverse classic Chevy pickup trucks that show their true colors — and they’re awesome.

They look great as-is, and they take to mods like a fish to water. We came across these five examples of retro brilliance. And, if you’re in the market, they are all up for auction.

1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne

1971 CHEVROLET CHEYENNE

This Cheyenne is on the auction block at Leake Auction Company. With a 350 cubic inch V8, it’s got the classic small block engine that performs in a big way. This truck has power steering, an automatic transmission, power brakes, factory A/C, rally wheels, and great long bed. The two tone Ochre paint job gives us that perfect, classic Cheyenne look.

Also for sale at Leake Auction, this Chevy C-10 is a bold, badass pickup. It also happens to be a show truck, so the work put into it makes it a one-of-a-kind pro street and show Chevy. The 454 cubic inch big block V8 engine makes this yellow monster roar. Modded with a Edelbrock RPM air gap intake fed by a Demon 4BBL. It also has a custom chopped top, tubbed bed, March pulley system, serpentine belt with billet brackets and COMP cam timing cover, custom exhaust with custom performance headers and stainless steel exhaust to Magnaflow mufflers. This is definitely the right car for someone looking for custom style and power.

1966 Chevrolet C10

1966 Chevrolet C10

Carlisle Auctions is selling this 1966 Chevrolet C10, gorgeous and green. The C10 has a 350 cubic inch V8 with mild cam, automatic transmission, aluminum radiator, headers, new dual exhaust, and Edelbrock intake and carburetor. It has a relocated gas tank, new sleek wood bed, lowered suspension, staggered 18 and 20 inch wheels, four wheel disc brakes, power steering, Vintage Air A/C and heat, Autometer gauges, chrome tilt steering column, and digital radio. With less than 1500 miles since built, this pickup has a long and probably wild life ahead.

1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne

1972 CHEVROLET CHEYENNE

Powered by a modified 454 cubic inch big block engine with extensive chrome, this truck looks as good under the hood as it does on the road. This two toned burgundy Cheyenne has been upgraded to a 4-wheel drive chassis, had body-off frame restoration, and also includes automatic transmission, A/C, sliding rear window and Bully side steps, Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels and 35″ Cooper SST tires, a 4″ lift with Skyjacker shocks, dual Flowmaster exhaust, and tonneau bed cover. This is a nicely modified blend of brains and brawn.

1969 Chevrolet C10

1969 CHEVROLET C10

This pickup truck blends some new technology to its old school cool. It offers a 327 cubic inch V8 engine, rebult 77R automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering, front disc brakes, Dakota digital dash, Newvision Legend series wheels, headers, and body-off frame restoration. The former owner has all restoration receipts, and the restoration nicely kept the C10’s history and style at the forefront when integrating any new modifications. This is one mean, green, and pristine machine.
