Have You Configured Your 2016 Camaro Yet?

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

Last week, Chevrolet finally released their configurator for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro on their website. The 6th generation Camaro is all new, based on a smaller, lighter weight platform. There are the usual engine options, along with a brand new base, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The 6th generation Camaro is the most advanced version of the car yet.

If you’re looking for a way to waste your afternoon at work, go ahead and head on over to the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro page where you can choose interior and exterior options, and browse the various features of the car.

I’m looking forward to taking the new car for a spin in production spec. While the new turbo four is an interesting option I’d like to sample, I’m obviously most looking forward to the SS with the 6.2L V8 straight from the Corvette making 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Available MagneRide magnetorheological ride control dampers means that the SS is going to be one of the best-handling Camaros ever built, next to maybe the most recent Z/28.

Head on over and check it out, and share some of your combinations with us in the comments or over in the forums!
