Kelderman’s Insane Silverado Snowmobile Plows Through Vegas

Chevy Silverado SEMA 2018

We’re coming to you live from SEMA, where this Silverado is the perfect cure for those inevitable winter blues.

We at Chevrolet Forum are perennial attendees at SEMA in Las Vegas. Thus, we’ve become accustomed to seeing the craziest, over-the-top trucks you’ll ever lay eyes on. But while scooping up coverage for SEMA 2018 this week, we came across what might be the most insane truck in the building. Or outside of it, for that matter. And that’s Kelderman’s wild Chevy Silverado “snowmobile” build.

With winter nearly upon us, we can’t think of anything we’d rather play in the white stuff in. If you’re familiar with any of Kelderman’s work, you already know the suspension maker builds some pretty wild stuff. But this particular Silverado takes the cake, in our humble opinion. That’s what happens when you stuff a massive lift under a Chevy truck and fit it with a set of tracks.

Of course, those tracks are easily removable and can be replaced with “regular” wheels and tires. But what fun is that? With a snow camo wrap, this thing is obviously build for inclement weather. And it’s packing a custom rack over the bed that holds a couple of snowmobiles too. Because eventually, you’ll get tired of driving this insane Silverado, we suppose? Probably not.

Well, it is cheaper to tear up and replace one of those than a mega-dollar custom show truck. So there’s that. But if we’ve got to endure the ills of winter, we’d prefer to do it behind the wheel of this Silverado, thank you very much.

This is just the latest eye-popping build we’ve seen. So stay tuned, because we’re bringing you the best of SEMA 2018 live all week long!
