ONLY IN A CHEVY! Driver Leads Cops on a Wild Chase in Fairfax, Virginia

Now, there is no denying that car chases are a blast. Pull out your lawn chairs, sit in the yard, and kick back with a beer. Most people will cheer on the driver of the “suspect vehicle” rather than the cops, even if it’s just for the heck of it and the joy of fighting for the underdog.

Regardless, it is rare that one of these fleeing vehicles actually gets away, especially because helicopters are called out to watch their every more. And those helicopters also lead the public to see some very intriguing footage.

This particular chase occurred just over a week ago in Fairfax County, Virginia. The driver was 36-year-old Lakisha Tracy, who had several arrests warrants out for her and took when an officer attempted to stop her for a traffic violation.

Though we don’t advocate running away from a ticket, we’d say that Lakisha did a pretty good job! Well, aside from being caught. Still, despite driving her heavy silver Chevy Silverado, with what appears to be bags of mulch in the bed, she drove quite well. She weaved through traffic, cut across a dirt median, drove on a concrete median, and then did some pretty hefty drifting there at the end. Maybe if she had a faster vehicle she would have gotten away!

What is particularly amusing is after the rig has finally been trapped, she appears to still refuse to get out of the car. The officers end up pulling he out, and her truck sits sadly, pinched between the bumpers of two police cars and a concrete barrier.

Again, we don’t advise doing this. After all, it is likely that he charges from an event such as this will be worse than what she was originally facing. Still, it is a fun and exciting car chase to watch! Check out the video below an watch it unfold!
