The strong partnership between the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Chevrolet, seems to pay good dividends… for some, at least.

A total of 33 “Festival” cars were presented in Indianapolis to commemorate the “500 Festival”, which is the name given to the festivities taking place in May, honoring the Indianapolis 500 mile race. The Indy 500 isn’t only dubbed, the “greatest spectacle in racing”, but is also celebrating its 100th running this year, making this Camaro even more special.

Taking place on Memorial weekend, the Indy 500 is one of the most grueling races in the world, and certainly one of the fastest. The Chevy Camaros are given to key executives or directors of various organizations who support May’s 500 Festival.

This year’s 500 Festival cars are based off the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible and are powered by the LT1 6.2L V-8, which offers 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque – making it the most powerful Camaro SS ever. Not to mention the snazzy livery.
