Specialty Vehicle Engineering offers a lowered 2026 Silverado YENKO/SC with a 1,000-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 powerplant.

Admittedly, the 2026 Silverado isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when we think of high-performance Chevrolet vehicles. However, it seems we may have to eat some crow for that thinking. Imagine, if you will, manually rowing gears in a single-cab long-bed Silverado with almost as much power as the ferocious C8 Corvette ZR1. Sounds pretty enticing, right? Well, there’s great news if you think so. If you’ve got nearly six figures burning a hole in your pocket, you don’t have to imagine it.

This is the Specialty Vehicle Engineering 2026 1000HP 6.2L YENKO/SC Supercharged Silverado, and it is the ultimate street truck. It’s based on rear-wheel-drive 2026 Silverado models, but comes with quite a bit of overhauling. It’s far more than a standard truck with a supercharger bolted to it and a tune. This is truly a performance-oriented monster of a truck with plenty of supporting mods to ensure it’s ready for the power.

Manual Transmission, Massive Upgrades

First and foremost, the engine is far from a standard 6.2-liter V8. Instead, it has a forged, twisted-steel crankshaft, hardened journals, intermediate pin drills, forged steel rods, forged aluminum pistons, upgraded cylinder heads, and upgraded fueling.

Of course, it also has a supercharger with what SVE describes as a “high-flow cooling system” and a unique “Boost-by-Wire” control system. Breathing through a stainless-steel cat-back dual exhaust, this monster of an engine spits out 1,000 horsepower and is available with either 91 or 93 octane fuel.

In addition, the truck comes with a lowering package, Fox performance shocks, lightweight 22-inch forged aluminum wheels, Nitto performance tires, an upgraded front sway bar, and, importantly, six-piston Brembo calipers with 16-inch vented rotors. You need a lot of stopping force with massive horsepower, and a brake upgrade like this is essential for this much punch. Of course, as noted, SVE does indeed mate this engine to a six-speed manual transmission, which isn’t even an option for a 2026 Silverado.

Big Power Comes with A Big Price Tag

According to DuPont Registry, the cost of the SVE YENKO/SC package is $89,995. Of course, that doesn’t include the donor truck’s cost. Considering the base 2WD 2026 Silverado comes in at $36,950, you’re looking at $127,000 before any taxes or fees are rolled into the equation. That’s a pretty hefty price tag. That said, if we had the money kicking around, it’d be hard not to feel the temptation, if not just for the manual transmission alone.

We could do without the over-the-top YENKO/SC and 1,000HP badging, though. Who doesn’t love a little sleeper subtly?
