Default 1990 K2500 oil cooler lines

I purchased these two lines from Rock Auto. 12472285 & 12472286. They were supossed to fit my 1990 K2500 with the 5.7 engine.
These lines do not look anything like what is on my truck. I did not try to install them for fear of not being able to return them if they
did not fit. Does anyone have any ideas for different part numbers?

These are exactlly what I received from Rock Auto. However the metal part of the hoses on my truck are much longer than the ones I received. I did not try to install them. I was worried about routing the rubber part of the hose away form the pulleys. Also one of these looked shorter than what is on my truck.
Are these superceded replacements for the originals?
Has anyone used these on a 1990 K2500 with the 5.7 engine.

They are listed as being for your 1990 K-2500 Chevy. I don't know if they are superseded for your Chevy or not. Maybe you can call or send a message and ask them? They have a chat feature as well.

To clarify - are you looking for the engine oil cooler (connect to driver side of radiator) lines or the transmission oil cooler lines (connect to passenger side of radiator)?

If the engine lines are what you need, the ones you ordered are correct according to part number, so what about them doesn’t match the lines installed on your truck?

It is the engine oil cooler lines on the drivers side. On the lines on my truck, the metal tubing coming off the radiator are much longer than the ones I received. the metal tubing goes way down the radiator before the rubber tubing starts. This allows for the routing to be below the power steering pulley. The rubber hose on the ones I recieved could interfere with the pulley. Also one line looks to be too short. My mechanic did not try to install them for fear of having to put the old ones back on & create a bigger leak than the leak I have now.

I punched in the numbers that Rock Auto sent me & GM Parts Direct said would not fit which we don't think that they would fit..
I really don't know what I need.
I am going to take some pictures of mine on the truck & maybe I can email them????

You can post the pics here on CF, using the pics icon with the square that looks like mountains and/sun/moon next to the paperclip icon.

The part descriptions on rock auto specify with or without HD cooling. Lines 2234 & 2230 are for HD cooling whereas 2285 & 2286 are not.

If you zoom in, there’s an obvious difference in the shape of the radiator end of the lines, so maybe the HD lines are what you need.

FYI, it’s fine if your preference is to have OEM lines, but as a professional mechanic who’s installed dozens of Dorman cooler lines (engine and transmission), I can tell you they fit/work just fine.
