1995 Chevy 1500 5.7 350 not starting after tune up
The truck started before I did the tune up. I did spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Now it cranks but doesn’t start. I replaced the fuel pump before the tune up. I’m pretty sure I did the firing order right but is there a video or diagram I can follow to make sure I did. I took off the rotor and cap and inspected it and I couldn’t find anything that jumped out. I read about some connection I have to unplug for the timing but I’m not sure and don’t want to mess with it anymore. I don’t have much experience on these older trucks. Does anyone have any ideas? Also I have a 96 tahoe sitting next to the truck it’s the same 5.7 but it’s a vortec mine is just the old 5.7 350. Is it possible I can just swap over the distributor cap and rotor from the vortec to mine?

First off, are you getting spark at the plugs? Second is the fuel being delivered to your fuel injectors at the proper pressure?
