Default 1995 Chevy 1500 5.7 350 not starting after tune up

The truck started before I did the tune up. I did spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Now it cranks but doesn’t start. I replaced the fuel pump before the tune up. I’m pretty sure I did the firing order right but is there a video or diagram I can follow to make sure I did. I took off the rotor and cap and inspected it and I couldn’t find anything that jumped out. I read about some connection I have to unplug for the timing but I’m not sure and don’t want to mess with it anymore. I don’t have much experience on these older trucks. Does anyone have any ideas? Also I have a 96 tahoe sitting next to the truck it’s the same 5.7 but it’s a vortec mine is just the old 5.7 350. Is it possible I can just swap over the distributor cap and rotor from the vortec to mine?

The firing sequence is the same Vortec or not, so if you look at the Vortec to your own distributor, it will be the same. No need to change out the Vortec cap and rotor as you already have done so with your 1995 Chevy. I'd run a check on your fuel pressure, since many parts these days are made cheaply in China or elsewhere and are not up to par when they were made in North America and it MIGHT be the fuel pump.

First off, are you getting spark at the plugs? Second is the fuel being delivered to your fuel injectors at the proper pressure?

First of all, did you replace plug wires individually? If not, (you should have) I'd recommend checking the firing order from the cap to the cylinders, usually if you are off one-two it will try to start. Did you pull the distributor? If so, crank the engine over without the cap, is the rotor turning?
