1997 chevy k2500 5.7 died know it will not start
I was driving to work yesterday and my truck dies and will not start. I put a new fuel filter on it and still nothing . But if I put gas in carburator it will start for a second . Can anyone please help me.
Before condemning the fuel pump, always a good idea to confirm good power and ground are available to the fuel pump. You may need to crank the engine over some to give it time to get power to the pump. Ground can be confirmed with voltage drop testing or just use a meter or test lite to confirm ground is good.
Make sure fuel pump fuse and relay are good and working.
