I have a 1998 chevy silverado 2wd 5.7l v8..
Issue. i replaced water pump thinking that is the issue. nope. I see a leak under the truck by front area... just below the water pump..?
Can you help on possible issues? New truck to me.. trying to figure this out.. doesnt keep the coolant for very long. '

 

pretty hard to say without pics.
i would get a coolant system pressure tester. connect it to the rad and pump it up to the cap rated psi. inspect for leaks.
