It’s all about who you speak to and what they know. I’m a professional tech and when I started at my current shop 5 years ago, the counter staff at our supplier knew their stuff, OEM and aftermarket.

Since then there’s been staffing and management changes, and while some good has come of it, the current counter guys are just inexperienced, so they struggle with some things because they just don’t know.

I’ve done business with every national chain store in this area, and I’m not opposed to any one store chain, but I know which locations to go so I can speak to the right person.
