Hello I have a 89 K1500 cheyenne and a few days ago as I was driving and everything just turned off and I can't find the issue. I have verified the battery terminals and the ground to the engine block as well as the frame with a multimeter and it reads as it should. I have checked all fuses located in the cab as well as relays and still nothing works. When I turn the key to the on position I get nothing, no lights, starter, fuel pump, absolutely nothing. I also disconnected the computer to verify if power is getting to it and there is no power to the connections, so I know I'm obviously missing something any help would be appreciated thank you.

 

Disregard I figured it out the wire coming from the positive terminal on the battery was melted against the exhaust manifold underneath so I couldn't see it.
