My man has a 1998 Cheyenne c2500hd. There is something going on with this truck that he cannot figure out. Sometimes when you try to crank it the dash lights won't come on, no fuel pump or anything, and it will not crank. At other times you go to crank it and it does just fine. The security light was on so he bypassed that. It cranked fine several times and now once again its getting no power. Now, he has taken out the dash, replaced the ignition switch and it seems like there is a connection in there somewhere that sometimes makes contact but sometimes doesn't. It seems like if you push on the dash, or do twenty other things at the right time, it will sometimes just start working. Can anyone please give any kind of suggestion as to what to do from here. This problem has been going on so long we are just about to the giving up point. Should we try new relays? any help is appreciated!
