Unhappy broken wires

Hello everyone. First time user here. Here is my issue: Today I was changing the thermostat in my 1995 Chevy C1500. After removing the old thermostat i noticed that i managed to break three wires. As far as I can tell there are two black wires and on white (maybe pink.) They come out of the harness near the thermostat. For the life of me I can't see where they go. I am attaching a photo of the broken wires hoping someone can tell me where they go so I can repair them. Thank you in advance.

It looks like they may be the wires that go to the egr valve (the bundle with a red arrow in pic). If it is indeed where they belong, you can pull back gently on the plastic part they came off of that remains on the valve (circled red in pic) and possibly reattach them.

Note that mine is a 4.3 liter but yours may be similar.

You can also look at another 1995 truck with the same engine to see where these wires go. Another year truck might also be the same. Possibly try the junk yards.
