Default Cranks, no start no spark no fuel pump no accessories

1998 Chevy c1500 4.3 vortec. Just replace battery, fuel injector spider and coil with icm had the fuel tank Acid dipped and new fuel pump installed truck was idling and shut off. Now no power to the fuel pump no spark and only accessory on dash that’s works is clock on radio. Dome light and head lights working. Checked and swapped fuel pump relay. No blown fuses. Checked power to the ignition cylinder red and red/white wires. Both 12.88 volts. Don’t know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

If you give us OBD II codes; mileage on the vehicle, and more info, it would help a lot.

Also why did you have the fuel tank acid dipped?

truck was my granddads. He die in 2012 and we parked it. Trying to bring it back to life. Tank was full of rust. Truck has 230,000+\- waiting on a new obdII can scan tool to be delivered for codes.

I understand now. I am sorry about your granddad. Do not worry his Chevy can be repaired.

No worries oilcanhenry. He lived a good life and was ready to go. Electrical is like cyponite. Power to the relays, thinking the ignition cylinder housing may have went bad. Just crazy it was running and just shut off. All grounds seem good. Just don’t want to see his little old truck get to far to to bring back.

Here’s the ignition switch schematic - you can check the wiring by back probing at the connector at the base of the column by removing the trim panel.

Power in but no power out, particularly in the ON/RUN position means the switch or column wiring is at fault.

The red wires are fed from the IGN A & B fuses in the underhood fuse block.

update
checked the truck with a obd11 scanner and could not get the scanner to link. Attempted five times.

Check the fuse on the cigar lighter, that I believe is power to the diagnostic port.

Until you can verify definitely that power and ground are available where they should be , we are working in a fog.
Suggest either a test light or voltmeter to confirm good power and ground are available at the diagnostic plug.
Power should be at pin #16 and grounds (2) are at pins 4 & 5. Until you do this you can;t be sure of anything.
