Default Do I need a trans controler

I am in the process of swapping out my 305 for a 350. I know that the factory ECM and injection doesn't like bigger cams due to vacuum issues. I plan on using a Eldebrock Performer intake and a Holly Brawler carb. I know the injection components can be unplugged from the main harness but will this cause the trans not to shift. Or is there a fix for the stock injection system.

Regards,

Well I guess I'm not getting an answer to my question...I assume it's beneath the" perfect experts" on the forum. At 69 this is a bucket list item for me to build my own engine. O well, I'll find some less than "perfect experts" and seek my info elsewhere...It's been a slice!

Attitude even at 69 should be more like 69, not 15. I am not totally for sure about this issue, but am thinking the VSS controls the shifting.
