Default Need help 97 k1500 5.7 won’t start

Update: sprayed starting fluid in and it started for a second, so I checked the fuel pressure from on top of motor and I had none spray out when trying to roll it over, what’s do I do or change now?

So the last month or so I’ve been putting new parts on my plow truck replaced fuel tank, fuel pump, maf sensor, thermostat, plugs, distributor cap and rotor, after that truck was still running rough so I changed the engine coolant temp sensor and that worked, ran a lot better besides a hiccup at low speed or initial take off, well that lasted a week then I was driving it down the road and it gave me a hiccup at (70 mph) didn’t think much of it till I noticed it slowing down I lost power so I pulled over and truck died, it will crank over but won’t start, so then I changed the TPS and that did not work, does anyone know what could possibly be going on with my truck? Any help is appreciated need to get it going before plow season starts and it’s just around the corner

i think the 1997 c1550 uses a chinese fuel pump / fuel level sender combo. after keying on (before starting) it should raise pressure to say 90 even before you start. you have a small "fuel pressure regulator" on the fuel rail. it returns un-used fuel (fuel pressure) back to the gas tank if it opens to (relieve un-used fuel).

assuming your fuel filter isn't rused over and collapsed or there's a kink in the fuel line or blockage in the pump or what

you check your fuel pump first - insuring it has 12V power of course before daming it for not pumping
