Default Settle a debate concerning 350s

I have a 95 Chevy Silverado with a 350 motor. Does all oil go through filter BEFOR lubricating any parts inside block, or is there some device or channel to take some oil to block parts (bypassing filter) before motor warms up? My concerns are about getting any NPT sealant (tape or liquid) plugging up oil journals. If all oil if filtered, I should not have any concerns. I recently used liquid sealant on a new oil sending unit. I also used high-temp sealant tape on an oil filter attachment (before going into filter side). THX!

All is filtered, there is a bypass but it only comes into effect if the filter is clogged.

Yes. The only bypass is in the filter if the inlet press is too high, as in a plugged filter, and that allows, although unfiltered oil, to continue to the engine.

If you are concerned about contaminants plugging the oil filter, I'd advise to run the engine for a hundred miles or so, then replace the filter. Filters are cheap.
