Default Transmission leak

I changed my transmission fluid to Dex6 about 1000km ago and I just noticed a transmission fluid leak. It mostly drips off the starter and looks like it's coming from the top of the bell housing. I am completely stumped on where it is coming from, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix/find that'd be great. It's a 4x4 4L60e, the pics are the leak.

Was it leaking before the fluid change? Did you remove the pan to drain the old fluid? If yes then it is probably the pan gasket.

It didn't leak before the change and yes I took the pan off, but it is dripping from above the pan so that is why I don't think the pan gasket is the culprit

Can you clean it up real good and then keep a close eye on it to see where it is coming from?

I'm almost 99% sure it is coming from the top of my transmission, I'm thinking it might be the vent? I'm going to have another look at it today

If it is coming from the vent then there is a possibility that the transmission is overfilled with fluid.
