Voltage drop

I will install a second volt meter directly from the battery. I also notice when the high beams are switched the oil pressure and gas gauge flicker.
Good to know you figured it out.

If the oil PSI and fuel gauge are “flickering” with the high beams, a couple of possibilities come to mind:

1) There’s an issue with the headlights circuitry causing excessive current draw or back-feeding of some sort. Could be a faulty switch or relay, bad ground, weak connection or other wiring problems.

2) There’s other issues with the cluster, and in my experience with these trucks, that’s the most likely case.

Either scenario is going to require further diagnosis to confirm.

Thanks for the info, I am changing the switch, and will look for a bad ground.
