Default Water Leak and stain at Head liner above doors

After many years of keeping the rain water on the outside, as it should be, this '98 K1500 Chevy is starting to leak now.

The water leak (feels moist, and staining on the head liner is visible) started on both the Driver and Passenger sides at about the same time... initially, there was limited water/moisture showing on the headliner, at about the mid-point above the door, and this would evaporate quickly. This area of moisture has now grown to extend from the front visor attachment point, to the safety belt attachment point for the rear seat.

- Both door gaskets look to be in good shape, the second one appears to stay dry. The top of both gaskets are clear and no obvious blockages from needles.
- The intersection between the windshield and door gasket is clear of needles.
- On the roof exterior there are 2 parallel channels, above the extended cab window, that I have used compressed air and water under pressure to clear of needles -- but the needles do seem to be ever present there... and there is always one more needle to come out.

Any thoughts/experiences with a leak at this location? ...best next steps to fix this?

Cheers,

James

The front windshield and door intersection is clear of needles, but the parallel channels above the extended cab window always seems to have one more needle to take out -- interior headliner staining shown, from back to front.

Both rubber gaskets look in good shape, and the lower gasket appears to stay dry.

Run a water hose over it and see if any water comes through? Might be possibles it's your windshield gasket gone bad too.
