2000 Chevy Silverado 4.8
idk. but your engine is connected to your trans by connectors (if you have oily connectors...). check both engine and trans codes (does your OBDII do trans?). Check battery and grounds first for any repair, as always. (this is all without your saying what you have haven't tried yet)
Make sure you do justice to your trans fluid level (checking right way, draining if jiffylube overfilled it) before diagnosing.
* mass airflow sensor - do you have an acorn stuck in it
* make sure there's no load when idling in N,P,D (does your car move when you take foot off brake with no gas, and have proper force)
* if you actuate the throttle by hand do you notice anything? is the linkage there ok?
* if you spray around intake gasket does idle change? (is there an intake leak?)

I’ve done all of which you mentioned and yes my code reader does all and the only code is higher than expected idle!! 🤷♂️🤷♂️.
