2002/2004 Silverado 5.3 won't start
I recently done a motor swap and my motor will turn over but won't start. I tried starting fluid and still didn't work. Been told I got the wrong wiring harness since it came off a 2002 suburban flex fuel. My setup is drive by cable since the truck is set up for it already.
Which PCM are you using - the one from the existing vehicle or the one from the donor vehicle? Have you done the BCM to PCM relearning procedure for the vehicle security system? Do you hear the fuel pump running?
I don't hear fuel pump running and I'm using computer from donor vehicle
OK on the no fuel pump noise.
Did you perform the BCM to PCM relearning routine? If not, then that could be your problem as the VINs stored in each control module are different and hence, the PCM is not allowing the fuel pump to engage. It is a security measure.
Try the 30 minute procedure detailed in the attached pdf file. Make sure your battery is fully charged!
Good Luck!

Sorry to hear that.
The next step I would do is to go over all the electrical connections and make sure that there are no bent pins inside the connectors, that the wires are secure going into the connectors, that you did not forget to reconnect any ground leads, etc.
Good Luck!
