Default 2004 Silverado Speedometer Cluster Message Center Problem

Hello everyone, I have a question about my 2004 Silverado, all my gauges will stop working and the message center will stay lit with green blocks even when key is off and will stay lit for days. Out of no where the gauges will work and gear selector/message center will show messages and gears and the green blocks are gone and will stay off. I do not believe it is a cluster problem but maybe a ground or under hood fuse box problem. Has anyone come across this problem before ? Thank you Jim

No, but I'd try the old trick by disconnecting the battery for a while, then reconnecting. Sometimes that helps reset things, but not always, for sure.
