99 Silverado Dash lights
Both cases use a simple level switch to indicate low. I don't know off hand if the switches are normally open or closed in "full" position, Since the coolant switch is the easiest to get to pull the connector off and see if you get the low level indication, if you do then the switches are normally closed in the full position and would indicate that you have bad connections allowing for an open circuit and false indication of low levels.
I bought an obd reader and I was getting an O2 code but because the previous owner pretty much chopped the whole exhaust system out and another one for an MIL lamp or something of that nature. I’ll have to run it again to get the actual code though. Bought the OBD this morning then worked all day
