Can y'all tell me what I need to buy to replace these wires that have been chewed through on my truck? What do they go through? Do I need to buy a complete wiring harness?
Welcome from Florida. You can reconnect them yourself. They are color coded, and you can connect each one-by-one same color to same color. This will take you some time, but it will save the expense of replacing the wire harness.
oldchevy is right about the color coding but if you’re going to repair it as-is, you’ll need about 4” of wire per circuit to make up the gap, and I’d recommend soldering instead of crimping.
You can also get a pigtail connector and just splice the engine side of the harness, which is what I would do if this were a customer truck.
Thanks, that does help. What are those wires going to? I haven't been able to find a diagram that I can read.
It doesn't look like the harness in that picture has the wires color coded so I know which ones to connect.

The connector side is for the ignition coils. The harness side runs back to the ECM, fuse block and one will be a ground at the rear of the engine block near the oil pressure sensor.
If you remove the harness wrap you will see the wire colors easier and can match up the cavities on the replacement pigtail using the old connector as a reference.
