so i bought a fuel filter online on a website after shopping several websites...
then later (the day it was delivered) I was on one of the websites I had shopped ... that opened up to the page i was last on....the fuel filter .... and at the top it said this filter does not fit your 2004 chevy silverado....so I got real concerned and started looking around and I realize that on every page I pull up there 3 different filters.....they look totally different from one another....I bought the ACDELCO GF652 which I came to from rock auto .....even there there are 3 different looking filters on the same search....anyway they have the Hastings GF111 whichis where I started....the GF652 is the same....i think....the ACDELCO looks just like the Hastings....but many websites call for another filter like the Hastings GF347 which has a nipple end....what is the correct Fuel Filter for my 2004 Silverado 5.3 2wd Engine RPO is LM7

 

The fail safe way to find out is to look at the filter already installed on your truck.
