I have a 2004 Silverado Z71, with the 5.3 V8. It leaks oil and I’ve tried several things to fix it. One thing I replaced was the valley pan gasket but it still leaks. I was going to replace the oil pressure sensor today, and noticed that the new valley pan gasket is partially covering the sensor. I know I put the new gasket on correctly considering the holes in the gasket have to line up with the bolts, but now I don’t know how I’m gonna change this sensor out. Can I cut away part of the extra gasket to make room enough to replace this sensor? Valley pan covering oil pressure sensor still plugged up Valley pan covering sensor unplugged
