Post At my wits end

2006 Chevy Silverado 4.3L 2 Wheel Drive - Current Mileage Approx 99,000

Just bought the truck very clean stored in a garage never driven in the winter. A week after I bought it, it developed a hard starting problem "currently winter temps around 20 degrees" which lead to a no start issue. if the key was cycled 3-4 time prior to starting it would start fine. led me to believe that is was a fuel delivery issue. ended replacing the fuel pump and all of the fuel lines with factory replacement parts. Also did a complete tune up with A/C Delco Parts. Truck was starting fine for a few days and now we are back to the same thing again. I do not have any issues with wire corrosion everything is very clean I had already checked for that while the tank was out. Keeping in mind also that this vehicle was purchased by the prior owner with 62,000 miles on it in 2010 so they put 37,000 miles on it in the ten years that they owned it. I am at a lose. when running the truck runs like it just came off of the show room floor.

Did you replace the fuel pump with a cheap aftermarket pump or did you get a Delco or Delphi pump? I have heard many times that the cheaper pumps fail shortly after installation.

Do a fuel pressure check when first trying to start it when it is cold.

I'd look at where you are buying gas, and perhaps add a can of heet to the tank.
