I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 4wd 4.8L, anyways the issue is all the indicators for the gear shift pop up but the box around them doesn’t pop up on neutral or park and even though it physically goes into those gears it still won’t let me use 4 low either?. But the box does pop up for every other gear tried replacing neutral safety switch and problem is still there.

 

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have the same exact issue on a 99 silveradi 2500 4x4.
