Default Oil pressure gauge not working

Hello, I have a 2003 Silverado 4.8, my oil pressure gauge is always reading 80, I changed my oil pressure sensor and my gauge worked fine for a few days but then went back to doing the same thing it did before, which is showing on 80. I even rebuilt the cluster and changed out the stepper motor and it didn’t solve the issue. Any idea on what might be wrong?

Welcome from Florida. Did you clean the screen under the oil pressure sensor?

When you say screen do you mean filter? If so their was no filter that came with or out of the truck

the service manual doesn't mention one there, and there are no screens listed on rockauto.
The pickup tube has one though.
