Regearing question...
Hello everyone,
I'm currently in the middle of rebuilding my 2006 avalanche LT and needing advice on the next part of the build. Currently running a 4L60 with 3.42 open diff setup and wanting to change gear ratio in the rear. I've already committed to a LSD setup but can't choose what gears to go with do to driving style. Truck has 35x12.5r17s and about to have a 6in lift added to it. This truck is my DD and driven mostly highway for work (65 miles round trip a day). Plan on getting a camper roughly 6200lbs but will only be taken out occasionally. My question is should I go with 4.10, 4.30 or 4.56 gears. I'm aware of the possible drop in MPGs when swapping but it being northern Texas and mostly flat roads I'm not to worried about inclines and hills while towing.
