Default Replace 4x4 nv4500 with 2wd nv4500

The question is in the title. Found a fairly cheap used nv4500 from these guys https://reman-transmission.com/trans...s/?code=NV4500 but just learned that it's 2wd so no wonder. My 01 Silverado is a 4x4, is it possible to make this work cheaply?

It's probable that it will work, but no one can guarantee it

I'm not 100% on the NV4500 however, I'd say you'd need to swap out the rear/tail housing, (for the transfer case mounting), and mainshaft at least.
