Hello all, just found this site and looking for some help. I have a 06 Chevy Silverado 4.3 2 door. I replaced the fuel pump a month ago because the sending unit was bad. Truck was running great, but now I have a new issue. Truck turns on every time, but 5 seconds later it shuts off. It sounds like its running out of gas, slowly dies. Only code on my scanner that is coming up is P0496. Youtube is saying pressure sensor, but its new. Any advice on the issue would be greatly appreciated. Gonna take the bed off tomorrow and start looking for loose wires or visual issues. Thank you, Rigo
Found the problem. Its a loose,/bad wire that goes to the fuel injection harness. I bend the wires by hand and problem goes away. Gotta be shorting out. Ima take it to my dads mechanic to be sure.

Mr. Joe you happen to know the exact name of this part? Can't find it for the life of me at all the online part stores. Worse case scenario, I'll just go to the dealership with my vin#.
Im leaning towards cutting and splicing, soldering as per Mr. Joes advice. But I'll definitely look at a harness and see where its at in price and availability. Thanks for the info SK47
