Default SWAPPED for a lower miles 4.8l

Somebody, please help me.I have a 99 Chevy Silverado.L.S 4.8L No, the motor hydro locked on me.About two months ago I bought the same owner just a year.Newer four point eight l s out of a silverado A hundred and thirty thousand miles I got the motor put in then.I then I realized my starters bad So I finally get a starter I'm getting fuel up front from the little service. Valve on antique so I know, I have you. I'm almost positive. I'm getting sparked, cause I'm gonna swap out 2 different racks of coils and plugs. I've reset the f****** computer.Should I please tell me why this mother****er's not starting for I take it to the scrapyard

My ,limited, experience says it should work as the big changes , in the computer system, started in the 03 and up models. Check crank sensor if no spark

I have 2 crank sensors an I tried both Ao unless i just so happen 2 Havw 2 Bad Sensor do you know if there A way to relearn pcm

You've already swapped the coils and plugs, which is a smart move. To check if you're getting a spark, take out a spark plug, connect it to the spark plug wire or coil, then touch the plug's metal part to the engine to ground it. Have someone start the engine, and see if you get a spark.

I have a tester I know I am not receiving spark I got told to Reset computer how do i do this

Just disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery. I'd leave it off for about 15-30 minutes—that usually clears any error codes.
