Default 2009 2500HD Silverado Sirius XM problem

I will apologize now if this has already been covered. I have the factory Sirius radio ready installed in my truck. I was installing a new battery and was resetting the date and time, when I accidentally hit the wrong button and ended up on the xm preview channel. This got me thinking, I have xm in my car and since I haven’t owned this truck very long, I will just activate xm on it as well. Channel 0 and channel 1 work flawlessly. After activation it won’t update to my new subscription. I’ve been on the phone all day with Sirius, they keep telling me they have to resend the update. Then it’s turn the truck off, for 10 seconds, then 15 seconds, emails to the tech side, then to engineering. And my radio is still stuck on channel 1 and 0. I guess my question is, since I’m getting the preview channel, the antenna and radio are working, correct? I’ve even tried disconnecting the battery and touching the cables together (there was a YouTube video on this and it made zero sense, but it worked for him, but his problem was different) and that didn’t work. I’m at a loss. Anyone experienced this or have a trick. Sirius tech department and operators seem to be lost.
