Default 2009 Silverado 1500

Is it possible to disable the TPMS system? The low tire pressure light is on constantly, and the display screen says service tire monitor system.
I can't even read the odometer to write my mileage down at fuel ups. The service TPMS service message and low tire warning is displaying constantly.
I fill my tires and use a tire gauge. ( how old school )
I wonder if the dealer would disable it, I was hoping to just remove a fuse but no luck on which one controls it.

Do you have a ODB2 scanner? I had this same issue and no matter how many times I filled my tires to the “proper” inflation couldn’t get the warning to stop. Bought a ODB2 to be able to scan for a separate issue and it allowed me to clear the code for the tires as well. Hasn’t been back since. If you don’t have, or not willing to purchase one, you can try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 10-15 minutes and see if that will reset it.

A more advanced scan-tool will erase all of those codes..
