Please help, 2010 z71 5 3l, you drive the truck a few miles and oil pressure Guage goes to 0, light cones on dings, the whole works. Engine doesn't tick or rattle at all like it isn't getting oil. I have replaced the oil pressure sensor and the screen underneath with dealer parts.

 

How many miles on the truck? Have you verified the pressure with a mechanical gauge?
Maybe the pickup tube is loose or plugged

 

I figured it it had low pressure the engine would knock or rattle

 

If you have good oil pressure then the sensor or wiring are bad.
